Wake Me Up at 5 a.m.
That’s the sad truth. I will arise at 5 a.m. to prepare for our 7 a.m. departure for Virginia Beach as the HTV Tour heads south.
The good news is, we got back to our hotel a few miles outside Washington, D.C. around 7 p.m., so we can get some rest. It’s a theory, at least.
We are a little over half-way in this journey and I have to say, it’s been maybe my favorite trip ever. Why? Because we are busy, energized, and productive. This trip is allowing us to bring you along. Just visit the HTV website to watch our videos. Some are serious, some are fun. But if you want a sense of what this convergence tour is all about, it’s there in the videos, and in those student blogs you can read by clicking on their mug shots.
Tomorrow we shoot just two stories and soak up some sun, no matter what the temp, because my dear wife booked us in a hotel on the beach. When you are from the land-locked midwest, you do the beach when you get near the beach.
