Bus Life
It’s been way too smooth of a trip overall, but I did meltdown a little last night. Sheer exhaustion made me pretty incoherent by 9 or 10 p.m. Alex Tabor has quoted me several times, and I don’t remember saying half of what she says I said. Oh well. I provided some entertainment, I suppose.
The Wi-Fi on the bus has been inconsistent, except in its slowness. When we get between major cities, out on the plains, it is hard to access it at all.
We bought a couple of USB cameras at Walmart just before we left. The plan was to have kids use them for the “Quick Clips” you see on our website. Well, they were useless. So we’re getting a flip camera tomorrow evening. It will do the job for the rest of the trip.
It’s past midnight EASTERN time. We lost an hour somewhere in Indiana. By the way, Indiana, Kansas called and wants it terrain back.
